Getting started with Teero

How do I post a shift?

You click a day on the calendar. This will bring you to the posting page. You will select your day(s) and review the shift details (start time, first patient, break length, end time). You will set the hourly rate, review the estimated cost, and post the shift(s) using the button at the bottom of the page.

How much does it cost?

We use a service fee model. You set the pay rate for all your shifts. You can increase or decrease this rate directly on the platform. You will see a transparent breakdown of the total cost in the upper right hand corner of the page.

What is fixed pricing vs smart pricing?

You have two different options for pricing shifts. Fixed pricing enables you to set a specific rate that stays constant for all shifts, regardless of timing or demand. Smart pricing (recommended) enables you to set a pay range, and our system automatically selects the optimal rate within that range based on market conditions.

How do I confirm a shift?

You will be notified via email when a hygienist requests a shift. To confirm a shift, you navigate to the platform, review the details, and press the confirm button. This will schedule the hygienist for the day. Tip - you can turn on instant book under your office settings to double your requests (details below).

What is the cancellation policy?

We offer free cancellations on shifts cancelled 24 hours ahead of time. Any shift change or cancellation within 24 hours is subject to a 4 hour charge.

How do I add a payment method?

You add a payment method from the billing page. You can choose between a credit card (3% processing fee) or ACH direct debit (free). A payment method is required before your first shift begins.

When is my office billed?

We bill the day after the shift has been completed. You can review all timecards and invoices directly on the platform. If your office is interested in extended billing terms, please reach out to our team at support@teero.com

Complete office settings

Offices that have completed 100% of their office settings have more visibility in the Teero hygienist app. This leads to more requests at your office. The details from your office settings page are shared with our hygienist network.

Posting future shifts

About 70% of Teero hygienists book out their schedules 4 to 6 weeks in advance. We recommend that you have 2 to 3 months worth of open shifts posted to the platform. This will give your office the most surface area to find support before schedules fill up.

Instant book

Instant book allows hygienists to automatically book future shifts at your office. It drastically speeds up the booking process and helps your find more support. You can configure your instant book settings to only apply to shifts far in the future - no surprise confirmations. When coupled with our flexible cancellation policy, instant book is a very powerful tool.
